Notice. Mr. Vikas Rajput, learned Standing Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

The present writ petition has been filed mainly with the following prayers:-

i) That the writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner from the date of

her initial appointment i.e. w.e.f. 02.05.2015 with all consequential benefits under the Kith and Kin Policy as has been done with similarly situated

incumbents in compliance to the Judgment passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court i.e. Annexure P-4.

ii) That the respondents may further be directed to pay the arrears alongwith interest @ 9% w.e.f. 0.2.05.2015 from the date his services are entitled

to be regularized.â€​

Both learned counsel for the parties, submit that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment rendered by Hon’ble Supreme

Court, in Civil Appeal Nos.1557-1564 of 2019 (Arising out of SLP (C) Nos.16158-16165/2016), titled Himachal Road Transport Corporation versus

Lekh Ram etc. etc., dt. 8.2.2019 (Annexure P-4), and pray that the instant writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the aforesaid judgment.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and the prayer made in the present writ petition, we deem it proper to dispose of

the present writ petition with permission to the petitioner to make a detailed representation before the respondents/competent authority, in terms of

aforesaid judgment, for claiming similar relief, as claimed in the present writ petition, within a period of two weeks from today. On making such

representation by the petitioner, the respondents/competent authority shall consider the same and take conscious decision thereon, in accordance with

the aforesaid judgment dated 8.2.2019 (Annexure P-4) of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, within a period of two months thereafter.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of, so also, pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
