Judgment
This writ petition is filed seeking the following prayers:
"(i) A writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to conduct revaluation on a priority basis in respect of courses/papers applied for as per Exhibit P2 by the petitioner in respect of the 3rd semester M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry Programme.
(ii) A writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to take expeditious action on Exhibit P3 representation requesting for revaluation of papers/courses of the 3rd semester M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry Programme in respect of examination conducted in October 2019"
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent University.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner had submitted an application for revaluation of paper having Course Code No.AN3C11 of the 3rd Semester M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry Programme, the revaluation has not been completed and the results have not been declared so far.
The learned Standing Counsel for the University submits that the last date for submission of applications for revaluation was 19.11.2020 and that the procedure will be completed on or before 19.01.2021.
In the above view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the revaluation process and declare the results of the petitioner as stated on or before 19.01.2021.
