S.N. Jha, J.—These two writ petitions are disposed of by this common order.

The grievance relates to non-payment of the arrears of difference of pay as a result of fixation of the pay according to Fifth Pay Revision Committee.

Counsel for the Respondent-Corporation states that as the bills were not available in the Establishment Section of the office of the Corporation, payment could not be made. He suggested that the Petitioners should submit duplicate bills. Counsel for the Petitioners pointed out that the Petitioners being non-gazetted employees and, thus, not drawing and disbursing officers, the duplicate bills are to be prepared by the office itself. He however very fairly suggested that the Petitioners will contact the concerned office staff and officials and assist them in preparing the duplicate bills. Counsel for the Respondents states that after duplicate bills are prepared the payment shall be made within three weeks.

Instead of three weeks, I would grant four weeks to the Respondents to make payment of the arrears.

The amount towards G.P.F. contribution deducted from the salary of the Petitioners shall be deposited in the concerned accounts to the credit of the Petitioners within the same period, i.e., within one month.

These writ petitions are disposed of.
