The instant writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for correction in the online computer entry made in respect of petitioners’ names and other heirs in Register-II with respect to the lands of Khata No. 26 plot No.181 (area-3.13 acres), plot No.294 (area- 12 decimal), plot No. 370 (area-1 decimal) plot No. 301 (area-07 decimal), plot No. 440 (area-0.19 acre), plot No. 535 (area-86 decimal) – Total 5.38 acres of land, village-Goya, Thana-Ghaghra, Halka No.10, District-Gumla.
The petitioners had submitted an application for making necessary correction in Register-II to the Circle Officer, Ghaghra, District Gumla on different dates (Annexure-3 to 5) which was pending at the time of preferring the instant writ petition.
It is now further pleaded by the petitioners in the supplementary affidavit that the representations have been disposed of by the Circle Officer, Ghaghra, Gumla on 05.01.2023 in Misc. Case No. 02/2022-23 noting that there had been interpolations in Register-II and the matter was sent to the LRDC, Gumla for making necessary correction in Register-II in the name of the Afjal Bibi and Mahmooda Bibi.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the matter is still pending with the LRDC, Gumla.
In the circumstance, the LRDC, Gumla (respondent no. 3) is directed to pass necessary order in Misc. Case No. 38 of 2023 in the matter pending before it on the representation of the Circle Officer, Ghaghra in Misc. Case No. 02/2022-23 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
This writ petition, accordingly stands disposed of.
Pending I.A., if any, also stands disposed of..
