.

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 30.06.2025 made in I.A.No.3 of 2023 in IDOP.No.305 of 2022 on the file of the Family Court, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil.

.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to compromise with the respondent. Thus, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter may be referred to the District Mediation Centre, Kanyakumari, considering the fact that the dispute is between the husband and wife and there are fair chances of settlement through mediation.

.The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for referring the matter to mediation.

.Accordingly, considering the request made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court refers the matter to the District Mediation Centre, Kanyakumari. The Officer (In-charge) of the said Mediation Centre shall nominate a Trained Mediator and the Mediator is directed to take up the matter and make an earnest effort to facilitate a settlement between the parties. The Mediator shall endeavour to conclude the mediation proceedings and submit a report before this Court on or before the next hearing date, without fail.

.Both the petitioner and the respondent are directed to appear before the District Mediation Centre at Kanyakumari, on 22.01.2026 and on the subsequent dates, to which the case is adjourned, without fail. If required, the Mediator may include any other incidental or connected disputes between the parties to be taken up for consideration. Notice need not be issued by the Mediator to the parties, as this order has been passed in the presence of the learned counsel on either side. Both the learned counsel are also directed to inform their respective parties about this order.

.Post the matter on 19.02.2026 along with the report of the Mediation.
