The writ petition is filed to issue a writ, order or direction preferably a Writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents 4 to 6 in opening and continuing the Rowdy Sheet vide C.No.18/HS/SDOP-NDG/2011, dated 21.1.2011 on the file of Kanchikacherla Police Station, Krishna District, against the petitioner herein, even after closure of the Criminal Cases, as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the Police Standing Orders and in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to close the Rowdy Sheet vide C.No.18/HS/SDOP-NDG/2011, dated 21.1.2011 on the file of Kanchikacherla Police Station against the petitioner herein forthwith.

Heard Sri D.Kasim Saheb, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.Mallikharjuna Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Additional Government Pleader for Home would submit that as on the day, no criminal cases are pending against the writ petitioner, and the Rowdy Sheet was closed.

In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the writ petitioner would submit that in the light of the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that as on the day no Rowdy Sheet is pending against the writ petitioner, no further orders are required, and the writ petition may be closed at the stage of admission.

The submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home are placed on record.

In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is closed at the stage of admission without going into merits of the case. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
