The original petition is filed to direct the Kerala State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Thiruvananthapuram, to consider and dispose of C.C No.145/2018, within a time frame.
Pursuant to the order dated 13.10.2021 passed by this Court, the Registrar of the above Commission, by communication dated 17.11.2021, has informed this Court that the above case was called before the Commission on 10.11.2021 and opposite parties have filed their version. The case stands posted to 22.11.2021. Two months’ time is required to dispose of the case.
Heard; Sri.R.Bindu Sasthamangalam, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Smt.K.S Santhi, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
In the light of the pleadings and materials on record, after perusing the communication of the Commission and after hearing the respective Counsel appearing for the parties, in exercise of the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, I direct the Kerala State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, to consider and dispose of CC No.145/2018, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate on before 23.12.2022.
