The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition, under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to seek expedited disposal of Consumer Complaint, preferred by the petitioner before the District Consumer Disputes and Redressal Commission, Dehradun, vide CC No. 518 of 2021, “EPS Financial Services (Pvt) Ltd vs. Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd. & others”.

The said complaint was preferred by the petitioner in the year 2021. The written statements of the respondents have been filed in the said proceedings. The matter is now stated to be ripe for hearing.

In view of the aforesaid, I dispose of this petition with a direction to the said Commission to decide the matter, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within one year from today.

It is made clear that I have not examined the merits of the claims of the petitioner one way or another.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
