12/29.09.2026 The instant interlocutory application has been filed condonation of delay of 198 days in preferring the present acquittal appeal.
It has been submitted by learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant was medically unfit and as such, he could not know about the fate of his case and only when he approached the Court below, he got the information regarding pronouncement of the judgment. Thereafter, he got certified copy of the judgment and consulted an advocate in the High Court, which has occasioned such delay.
Learned counsel for the other sides have opposed the prayer.
Considering the nature of dispute and the right of the victim-appellant and the reason assigned in the instant interlocutory application, the delay in preferring the present acquittal appeal is hereby condoned.
I.A. No. 3811 of 2026 is allowed and accordingly, disposed of.

Call for the Trial Court Record from the concerned court.
