Roe, J.—Section 17 applies to cases in which two different reliefs may be applied simultaneously to the wrong done to the plaintiff; it does not apply to cases in which alternative reliefs are asked for. Where alternative reliefs are sought a Court fee must be paid on the relief which appears to be of the higher value, in this case the amount for which the appellant seeks to redeem the property.
