Honourable Mr. Justice D.H. Waghela

1.

The petitioner has sought to move this Court under the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 (for short ''the Act'') on the basis that order dated 16.02.2006 of learned Single Judge of this Court in Special Civil Application No. 16000 of 2004 with Special Civil Application No. 4375 of 2004 has not been complied with by the respondents. The application is summarily dismissed in view of the express provision of Section 20 of the Act. The office is requested to see the copies of important documents annexed with the application and find out as to why and how such unreadable copies are accepted and circulated for reading by the Court. It prima facie appears that the parties or the learned Counsel did not care to provide proper copies of the documents on which they rely. It is a case of laxity on the part of the officers concerned in the Registry of the High Court, who appear to be unmindful that the papers are filed in the Court and circulated for the purpose of reading and not just to provide volume of the files.
