Judgment
Despite the order passed by this Tribunal dated 10.3.2022 the audit which was to be conducted under Regulation 15(2) of the Interconnection Regulations 2017. The same has not taken place because of the reasons given by the petitioner.
There are allegations and counter allegations.
Be that as it may, once the date is given by the petitioner for the audit of SMS and CAS by the empanelled auditor under regulation 15(2) of the Interconnection Regulations 2017, there cannot be any deviation. 21.3.2022 was the scheduled date given by the petitioner. Audit could not be taken place on that date for the fault lies on the part of the petitioner.
Counsel appearing for the petitioner has now given a fresh date for the audit to be conducted under Regulation 15(2) of Regulations 2017. The same is 5.5.2022.
If on the aforesaid date, the petitioner is hesitating for the audit, we hereby direct the Head of Police Stations whose details are given below to accompany or to depute the responsible police officer / officers with an empanelled auditor of the TRAI so that audit of CAS and SMS may be carried out at the premises of the petitioner on 5.5.2022-
