Multiple prayers have been made in the instant writ petition one of them is that the petitioner has been subjected to discrimination in disbursement of the benefit of grant.
It is the grievance of the petitioner that he is being paid Rs.20,000/- by way of grant while the Class-III employee working in the college is being paid Rs.64,000/- by way of grant.
It has been contended that the State although has filed a counter affidavit but there is no specific reason for such discrimination.
Mr. Raunak Sahay, learned counsel for the respondent-State has agreed to the submission that there is no averment as to what is the reason of discrimination in disbursement of the quantum of grant to the extent of Rs.20,000/- while the petitioner is holding the post of lecturer while Rs.64,000/- is being paid in favour of class-III employee, therefore, he has sought for time to seek instruction in this regard and file additional affidavit.
Let him do so before the next date of hearing.
In the meanwhile, let notice be issued upon the respondent nos. 7 and 8 both under registered cover with A/D as well as ordinary process, requisites for which to be filed within a week.
Let this case be listed on 17.05.2023.
