In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the official respondents to clear the arrears of the petitioner for rendering her service in the capacity of Assistant Professor in Computer Science in the respondent-College and further to pay her full salary as per UGC norms and guidelines. It has further been prayed for quashing of letter dated 21.10.2022 (Annexure P-15) issued by the respondent-College whereby the claim of the petitioner for increasing her salary and to clear the arrears due to the petitioner has been refused.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that similar issue has been decided by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No.13178 of 2023 titled Kulwinder Kaur Vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 11.10.2023 and the present petition may be disposed of in terms of the said judgment.

In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of in terms of Kulwinder Kaur’s case (supra).

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of.
