This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ( for short “Cr.P.C.”), is filed seeking release of Bolaro Goods Vehicle bearing Registration No.AP39-TP8749, return of tobacco products and non tobacco products that were seized in F.I.R. No. 01 of 2022 of Mudigubba Police Station, Ananthapur District.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State.

The F.I.R. registered against the petitioners was quashed by this Court, vide order dated 16.02.2022 in Crl.P.No.846 of 2022.

Therefore, as the F.I.R. registered against the petitioners was quashed, they are entitled for return of the property that was seized from their possession.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the property that was seized from the possession of the petitioners in connection with the aforementioned crime is ordered to be released to the petitioners on proper identification and acknowledgment.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
