ORDER:

The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of respondent Nos.1 to 4 in permitting the petitioner-College to participate in the web-counselling for B.Sc. (Honours) Cyber Security with an intake of 60 seats and B.Sc. (Honours) Quantum Technologies with an intake of 60 seats.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner-College was granted affiliation by respondent No.5 for an intake of students into B.Sc. (Honours) Cyber Security and B.Sc. (Honours) Quantum Technologies for the academic year 2026-27, vide proceedings dated 22.06.2026. It is further submitted that additional intake for B.Sc. (Honours) Computer Science, B.Sc. (Honours) Computer Applications and B.Sc. (Artificial Intelligence) was permitted by respondent No.5 vide proceedings dated 29.07.2026. The respondent No.2 is only a facilitator for conducting the web-counselling. It is submitted that respondent No.2 is not permitting the petitioner-College to participate in the web-counselling, though respondent No.5 has accorded permission and granted affiliation for the intake of students.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2, submits that no notification has been issued for the academic year 2026-27.

When the University has granted affiliation and accorded permission for the intake of students, respondent No.2 ought not to curtail the petitioner-College from participating in the web-counselling.

Considering the submissions made and as the first phase of web-counselling has already been completed and the second phase of web-counselling is shortly to commence, there shall be a direction to the respondents to facilitate the petitioner-College to participate in the second phase of web-counselling for admission of students to the aforesaid courses for which respondent No.5 has granted permission.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
