The prayers in the above Writ Petition (Criminal) are as follows:

“

i. issue a writ of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the respondents No.1 to 4 to detect the detenue, Smt.Sangeetha Gunasekhar, aged 35 years, D/o.Gunasekar, Murungaikkadu House, High School Road, Palikkadu, Komarapalayam, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, PIN 638183 and Sudha, aged 36 years, D/o.Murugesan, 84 Gandhi Nagar, Uthangarai, Samalpatti, Samalpatti R.S., Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, 635 306 and produce him before this Hon'ble Court, forthwith;

ii. issue such other writ, order or direction which may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Heard Sri.P.T.Abhilash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri.E.C.Bineesh, learned Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

Today when the matter has been taken up for consideration, Sri.P.T.Abhilash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, on the basis of instructions of his party, that the above Writ Petition (Criminal) may be closed as infructuous in view of the subsequent developments.

Recording the abovesaid submission of the petitioner, the above Writ Petition (Criminal) will stand dismissed as infructuous.
