From the order dated 03.12.2018 passed by a bench of this Court on an earlier occasion, it appears that the entire post retiral dues of the petitioner has been credited in his account and what has not been paid is only the salary of seven days ranging from 07.06.2015 to 13.06.2015, during which period the petitioner was stated to be unauthorizedly absent from duty. The matter at that stage was pending before the respondent Chief Engineer (Irrigation, Water Resources Department).
Mr. Harish Kumar, learned GP-8 submits that the entire payment has been made.
From the supplementary counter affidavit dated 20.12.2018, it appears that the period of unauthorized absence of the petitioner has been regularized after accepting his explanation and sanction for payment of the salary for the aforesaid period has been made. Pursuant to the sanction, Rs. 18,137/- has already been credited in the account of the petitioner.
In that view of the matter, nothing is left for the petitioner to grieve against.
There is no necessity of keeping the present proceeding alive.
The writ petition is disposed of as the entire dues of the petitioner has already been paid.
