Heard Mr. K.C. Gautam, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S. Sengupta, learned Addl. PP.
This is an application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner Shri Kishan Gupta who apprehended imminent arrest in connection with Crime Branch P.S. Case No 03(08) of 2022, under Section 420/468/471/34 IPC on the ground that the police had come enquiring about him in connection with the said case and had approached this Court for grant of pre-arrest bail.
Learned Additional PP has submitted that at this juncture, it may not be proper to go into the merits of this petition without the case diary being produced and perused by this Court. Accordingly, a copy of the case diary of the said Crime Branch P.S. Case No 03(08) of 2022, under Section 420/468/471/34 IPC is hereby directed to be produced before this Court on the next date fixed.
In the meantime, as prayed for the petitioner is allowed to go on interim bail on conditions that he shall not abscond and that he shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer as and when required.
