Judgment

The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in a cross-case registered against him vide DDR No.33 dated 22.10.2018 under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) in FIR No.105 dated 20.10.2018 registered under Sections 452, 323, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) at Police Station Kalanaur, District Gurdaspur.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 13.06.2022, petitioner has joined the investigation to the entire satisfaction of the Investigating Officer.
The learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Randhir Singh admits the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation in the case.
In view of aforesaid factual position, the interim order dated 13.06.2022 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
Petition stands disposed of.
