This writ petition has been filed by as many as four writ petitioners, who are aggrieved by inaction on the part of respondent No.3-Chairman-cum-Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Baggi, District Mandi, H.P., in not issuing their appointment orders despite their selection pursuant to advertisement Annexure P-1, dated 28.1.2021.
Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the respondents have duly issued the advertisement inviting applications for the post of drivers under Jal Shakti Vibhag, on contract basis, on consolidated payment of Rs.7910/- per month. The select list has been issued and published in the newspaper on 15.7.2021, copy whereof is placed on record as Annexure P-3. Even though more than three months have gone since then, so far appointment orders have not been issued.
Having regard to the limited nature of submissions, we dispose of this writ petition requiring the writ petitioners to submit comprehensive representations to respondent No.3-Chairman-cum-Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Baggi, District Mandi, H.P., who shall do the needful by either issuing the appointment orders or giving reasons why the appointment of selected candidates has been withheld, under endorsement to the petitioner within three weeks from the date of submissions of such representations along with copy of this order. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
