Judgment

This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
The petitioner is in custody since 01.05.2023 in connection with Titilagarh P.S. Case No.114 of 2023 corresponding to G. R. Case No.144 of 2023 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Titilagarh, for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 468/471/489(B)/489(C)/120-B of the IPC.
It is alleged that petitioner was dealing with fake currency notes to the tune of Rs.10,50,400/-, which was allegedly seized from their possession. Investigation appears to have progressed substantially. There is no material to show that the fake currency notes were utilized in any manner by the petitioner.
Taking into consideration the above facts, the materials on record and the period of detention in custody, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose.
BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
