This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode.

Heard Mr. Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Mishra, learned Addl. Standing Counsel and Mr. Das for OPID. According to Mr. Jena,

though the authorities have approached the designated court constituted under the Odisha Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial

Establishments) Act, 2011 under Section 4(3) of the said Act by filing Misc. Application No.01 of 2015 with a prayer to make the ad-interim

attachment order absolute, however till date the matter has not been taken up as no Presiding Officer is available. As a result, the interim attachment

order is continuing and the petitioner is suffering a lot.

Mr. Das, learned counsel appearing for OPID on instruction submits that the Presiding Officer, POCSO Court, Sambalpur is presently in-charge of

the designated court as constituted under the above noted Act. In such background, Mr. Jena prays that a direction be given to the Presiding Officer

to dispose of the Misc. Application No.01 of 2015 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Presiding Officer who is

presently in-charge of the designated court, Sambalpur constituted under the above noted Act to make all endeavour to dispose the Misc. Application

no.01 of 2015 filed by the State of Odisha in accordance with law within a period of four weeks after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to both

the parties.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.

prescribed vide Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020 read with Notice No.4798 dated 15.04.2021 issued by the Registrar General of this
