In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:-

a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ or order or orders to direct the 1st respondent, the State of Karnataka, Department of Rural

Development and Panchayath Raj, M.S.Building, Dr.Ambedkar Veedi, Bengaluru, represented by its Principal Secretary, to consider the

representation of the petitioner dated: 23.10.2019, vide Annexure-G.

b) Direct the PDO, Grama Panchayath, Edaguru, Gubbi Taluk to upload name of the petitioner to the Panchatantra data, enabling the petitioner to get

the salary in e.fms.

c) Pass any other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and the circumstances of the case by allowing the above writ

Petition, in the interest of justice and equity.

Petitioner's grievance is pending consideration before respondent No.1 since 23.10.2019. Petitioner is stated to be appointed as a water man to

Veerannanagudi, C.S.Pura Hobli, Gubbi Taluk, Tumakuru District by the Panchayath Meeting dated 17.05.2014. He was not allowed to work and so

also salary has not been paid. In this regard, both respondent Nos.1 and 2 are hereby directed to take appropriate action in redressing the petitioner's

grievance in accordance with relevant papers and law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, petitioner is

entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified to Rs.25,000/- for the reasons that grievance of the petitioner relating to permit him to work and non-

payment of salary and it is pending consideration before respondent Nos.1 and 2 and others from 23.10.2019. Accordingly, writ petition stands

disposed of.
