Judgment
Heard Sri Venkatesh B Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and Sri N.Ashwani Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for State Election Commission appearing for the respondents.
The grievance of the petitioners in the instant Writ Petition is against the action of the respondent Nos.2 to 5 in not considering the representations dated 18.10.2026, 25.10.2026, 28.10.2026 and 29.10.2026 submitted for providing police protection. As no orders have been passed on the said representations, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the instant Writ Petition.
Having regard to the submissions made, and without going into the merits of the case, as the representations of the petitioner is pending for consideration, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders forthwith in accordance with law on the representations dated 28.10.2026 submitted by the petitioner.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
