Judgment
The Respondent No.2/Defacto-complainant filed two petitions in I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2026 seeking permission to compound the offences as the matter settled out of court.
The Respondent No.2/Defacto-complainant and petitioner/Accused No.6 are present. Heard them personally.
The Respondent No.2/Defacto-complainant submitted that they have settled the matter out of court on certain terms and conditions which are mentioned in the joint compromise memo and requested this court to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in C.C.No.5382 of 2022 pending on the file of V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur.
Heard Sri Sasanka Bhuvanagiri, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri B shiva Rama Krishna representing P. Mounica, learned counsel for the Respondent No.2 and Smt. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.
As seen from both the petitions, Respondent No.2 is the legally wedded wife of Suresh Kumar/Accused No.1 and due to disputes, she had given a report, and the same was registered as a case in Cr.No.438 of 2019 of Arundelpet Police Station, which is pending before the learned Trial Court. The instant Criminal Petition was filed and during the pendency of the petition, both parties have arrived at terms and filed this petition. Respondent No.2 fairly submitted to quash the proceedings against the petitioner in view of their amicable settlement.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case, both the petitions are allowed giving permission to both parties to compound the matter. Accordingly, the petitions in I.A.Nos.1 & 2 of 2026 are allowed.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, proceedings against the petitioner in C.C.No.5382 of 2022 pending on the file of V Additional Junior Civil Judge, Guntur are hereby quashed.
The joint compromise memo and affidavit of Respondent No.2 and all parties shall form part of record.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
