Judgment
Petitioner seeks grant of second spell of furlough for two weeks.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of ASC accepts notice and submits that since the earlier spell of furlough will expire on 20.03.2026, the present petition cannot be allowed.
Learned counsel for petitioner submits that on 25.03.2026 wife of the petitioner is scheduled to undergo a surgery.
Learned counsel for State submits that co-convict of the petitioner also filed similar petition on the basis of medical documents obtained from same hospital as in the present case, so the State needs to verify the genuineness.
Considering the above circumstances, the present petition is disposed of directing the State to treat this petition as a representation and pass an order on the same within five days after verification of medical records.
For compliance copy of this order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent forthwith.
