Judgment
A.V.Sesha Sai, J
Today, when the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court by Sri Ilapakurti Chandra Sekhar, learned counsel for the petitioner, that the issues in the present Writ Petition are squarely covered by the order of this Court in W.P.No.5469 of 2022, dated 11.07.2022. A copy of the same is placed on record by the learned counsel for the petitioner. A perusal of the said order reveals that, in similar circumstances, this Court allowed the aforesaid Writ Petition setting aside the order of detention.
Following the said order and for the reasons recorded therein, this Writ Petition is allowed in terms thereof and the order of detention passed by the Collector & District Magistrate, Ananthapuramu District-second respondent herein vide proceedings in Rc.No.MC1/5265/2021, dated 09.12.2021, as confirmed by the first respondent-State Government vide G.O.Rt.No.167, General Administration (SC.I) Department, dated 01.02.2022. There shall be no order as to costs.
Office to enclose a copy of the order dated 11.07.2022 in W.P.No.5469 of 2022 to this order.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall also stand dismissed.
