Judgment

The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.
CRM No.22661 of 2020
Prayer in the application is for placing on record and for exemption from filing certified copy of representation dated 11.07.2020 (Annexure P-3).
For the reasons given in the application, same is allowed.

Prayer in the petition is for direction to the official respondents to enquire into the representation dated 16.07.2020 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the concerned official respondent to examine the representation dated 16.07.2020 (Annexure P-2).
Without adverting to the merits of the petitioner's allegations at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran-respondent No.3 to consider the representation dated 16.07.2020 (Annexure P-2) and thereafter, to take appropriate steps as warranted, in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is any imminent threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, then it be ensured that no harm is caused to the petitioner.
A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation, Annexure P-2 be sent to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran, respondent No.3 to enable him to do the needful expeditiously.
