Judgment
This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.405 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial First Class Magistrate, Armoor, Nizamabad District, wherein the petitioner was arrayed as sole accused for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 354(B), 354(C), 342, 506 and 324 of IPC.
Heard Mr. P. Prabhakar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1.
During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that basing on the complaint lodged by respondent No.2 in Crime No.137 of 2018 registered on 20.05.2018 against the petitioner, the Investigating Officer after conducting investigation filed final report before the learned trial Court on 05.04.2022. The learned trial Court has taken cognizance in the year 2022 and the same is pending since 2022. Though the present criminal petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.405 of 2022 by raising various grounds, during the course of hearing, learned counsel made a request to issue necessary direction to the learned trial Court to conclude the trial and dispose of C.C. No.405 of 2022 by fixing the time limit.
Taking into consideration of the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial and dispose of C.C. No.405 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that the parties in lis shall cooperate with the trial Court without seeking undue adjournments. It is needless to mention that the petitioner is granted liberty to approach this Court for fixation of fix the time limit, whenever, the cause arises.
With the above said direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed.
