Judgment
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 16.03.2026, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the counsel on record for the writ petitioners has passed away. However, the petitioners have not engaged any other counsel to represent them. Accordingly, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption “For Dismissal” to today.
Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC appearing for respondent No.1 is ready to proceed with the matter. However, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. It indicates that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the writ petition.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
