Judgment
ORDER
Per: Mr. P. Madhavan, Judicial Member The applicant filed this O.A seeking the following reliefs:-
"i.Direct the respondents to prepone the promotion of the applicant as HS-I with effect from the date of promotion of Shri Surendranath and further grant the applicant promotion as MCM with effect from the date of promotion of Shri Surendranath with all consequential benefits including arrears and interest.
ii.Such other relief as may be prayed for and this Hon'ble Tribunal may deem fit to grant."
The applicant commenced his service as OED on 10.02.1988. The post was re-designated as FGM(HS) with effect from 06.10.2006. The applicant was overlooked in the matter of promotion to the post of HS-I and MCM when his junior was given such promotions. When this was brought to the notice of the respondents by Annexure A-4, the applicant was given hope that everything will be set right. Thereafter, nothing transpired. Hence, the applicant filed this O.A.
Heard Mr. R. Sreeraj, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. N. Anilkumar, SCGSC for the respondents and perused the records.
Respondents have filed a detailed reply statement stating that as per recommendations of the Board of Officers, a review DPC has been ordered and finalised for refixing the seniority of both the employees and streamlining it as per their station seniority. Accordingly, the applicant is likely to get his promotion.
In view of the above submission made by the respondents, respondents are directed to consider the case of the applicant and pass orders within a period of two months.
The O.A is disposed of as above. No order as to costs.
