For the outstanding arrear dues, it is submitted that four postdated cheques have already been deposited with the respondent corporation, details of the same is produced by learned Sr. counsel for the petitioner which is kept on record.
In view of the pointed submission of learned Sr. counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the respondent corporation submits that the respondent corporation may be permitted to encash the three postdated cheques dated 22-08-2022, 21-12-2022 and 21-04-2023 on the date indicated therein for realization of the balance amount of the arrears.
It is noted that the instant writ petition had been filed with a prayer for consideration of the representations of the petitioner company by the respondent corporation to allow them to pay in instalments the arrear dues and for restoration of the electricity supply.
On this consideration, the Court had allowed the parties to make proposals as to the schedule of payment of the outstanding dues that will be acceptable to both the parties.
