T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The Petitioner is the Manager of an aided school. The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 2nd Respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext. P3 appeal pending before him.

2.

The dispute is regarding sanction of English Medium Parallel Division. The Petitioner is relying upon G.O.(MS) 148/03/G.Edn dated 5.6.2003. By Ext. P1 order, English Medium for the 1st standard was sanctioned during 2003-2004. It is stated that with effect from 2007-2008, English Medium had been again sanctioned in all the standards as evident from the fixation statements of the 3rd Respondent.

3.

The Petitioner challenges Ext. P2 fixation for the year 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. It is pointed out that the view taken therein cannot be supported.

There will be a direction to the Deputy Director of Education namely, 2nd Respondent to take a decision on Ext. P3 appeal, after hearing the Petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The Petitioner will produce a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition for compliance.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
