By the medium of the instant application, the appellant/convict has prayed for interim bail for performance of Barkhi of his late father on

07.01.2022, who expired on 18.01.2021.

The appellant has been convicted in FIR No. 59/2014 for commission of offence under Section 302 RPC, registered at Police Station Khour,

Jammu.

Mr. Amit Gupta, learned AAG has stated in the open Court that he through the concerned police agency has confirmed the date of Barkhi of father

of the appellant/convict and the date mentioned in the application is the exact date for performance of the Barkhi of late father of the

appellant/convict.

For the reasons detailed in the application coupled with the submissions made at the Bar, the appellant/convict is granted interim bail for one week

commencing 04.01.2022 to 10.01.2022 subject to furnishing of two sureties in the sum of Rs. 1.00 lakh (rupees one lakh) each, out of which, one must

be a government employee to the satisfaction of the Registrar Judicial of this Court and personal bond of the like amount before the Superintendent,

District Jail, Amphalla, Jammu-respondent No.2 . It is further directed that the sureties shall produce the appellant/convict before the Superintendent,

District Jail, Amphalla, Jammu on the due date i.e 10.01.2022 before 4pm and the Superintendent, District Jail, Amphalla, Jammu shall file a report

before this Court with regard to lodgment of the appellant/convict.
