This is a Civil Writ Petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction especially a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order/list dated nil (Annexure P-7) passed/issued by respondent No.5 to the extent whereby the petitioner has not been placed in the list of teaching practice Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed.) for 2nd year for the session 2022-2024 which started from 02.05.2024 till 25.10.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the case of the petitioner has been forwarded by respondent No.6 to respondent No.5, vide letter dated 03.05.2024 (Annexure P-8) and at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, a final decision is taken by the competent authority of respondent No.5 on the letter/recommendation dated 03.05.2024 (Annexure P-8), in accordance with law, within a specified time frame.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents-State has submitted that the competent authority of respondent No.5 would take a final decision on the letter/recommendation dated 03.05.2024 (Annexure P-8), in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of certified copy of this order.

Keeping in view the above-said facts and circumstances, the present petition is disposed of, with a direction to the competent authority of respondent No.5 to take a final decision on the letter/recommendation dated 03.05.2024 (Annexure P-8), in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of certified copy of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not opined on the merits of the case and the competent authority of respondent No.5 would consider and decide the matter independently, in accordance with law.
