Judgment
Learned counsel for the petitioners Mr. Jitendra Nath Upadhyay is present.
Learned counsel for the opposite party-State Mr. Tapas Roy is also present.
This petition has been filed for the following reliefs: -
That the Petitioners above named pray for quashing of the entire Criminal Procedure initiated against the Petitioners in connection with Sakchi P.S.
Case No. 69 of 2012 corresponding to G.R. No. 1080 of 2012 for the offence committed under Sections 420, 386, 387, 323, 506/34 of the Indian Penal
Code now pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur.
A status report has been received from the learned court below indicating that the record of the G.R. Case No. 1080/2012 corresponding to Sakchi
P.S. Case No. 69/2012 has been disposed of on 28.08.2020 and judgment was delivered against the accused, namely, Jaswant Singh and Balbir Singh.
Upon this, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present case appears to have become infructuous and accordingly, he does not
want to press it.
Considering the submissions and the status report received from the learned court below, this petition is hereby dismissed as not pressed.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
Pending interlocutory applications, if any, are also dismissed as not pressed.
