Judgment

The Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association as well as Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana High Court have decided to abstain from work today i.e., 18.09.2025 and accordingly, learned counsel is not available to assist the Court.
This writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking of appropriate and necessary directions to the respondent authorities to immediately consider the grievance of petitioners vide representation Dated 09.07.2025 (Annexure P-3) and to immediately release the payment of Earned Leave medical leave, reimbursement along with interest @ 18% per annum.
After going through the pleadings made in the petition and without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondent No.3-Chief Engineer, Beas Dam, BBMB Township, Talwara, District Hoshiarpur is directed to consider and decide the representation P-3 after providing opportunity of hearing to the parties, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
A copy of order so passed be supplied to the petitioner within seven days thereafter.
Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
