Judgment
By way of the present writ petition, the petitioners have
sought directions to the respondents for carrying out changes in
their option relating to the place of posting.
Mr. Tanwar Singh Rathore, learned counsel for the petitioners
pointed out the concern of the petitioners, who after submitting
on-line application forms, realised that the choice of
posting/department given by them was not proper on correct.
They want a change in their options relating to department, for
which they have already submitted their respective
representations dated 22.08.2017 and 27.09.2017 before the
Competent Authority.
In considered opinion of this Court, such a prayer or
direction for change of posting/department cannot be issued by
this Court. However, since the petitioners have submitted their
representations aforesaid, they may pursue the same and the
respondents may decide the same in accordance with law.
The writ petition is not entertained; but it however stands
disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the
petitioners'' aforesaid representation(s).
It is made clear that the direction to decide the petitioners''
representations has been issued only with a view to ensure
expeditious redressal of the petitioners'' grievance and the same
may not be constructed to be an order of this Court to decide the
same in a particular manner.
