Judgment
Ravindra Maithani, J
The instant habeas corpus petition was filed to get the corpus of the victim, in FIR No. 257 of 2020, Police Station Gangnahar, District Haridwar.
The victim, whose corpus is sought to be produced is daughter of the petitioner.
Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.
The Investigating Officer, Ms. Prema Kandpal also joins us through video conferencing and tells thatc orpus has been located and she produced
the corpus before the Court through Video Conferencing only.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the daughter of the petitioner has been located and she is with the petitioner now. He identified
the daughter of the victim, through video conferencing alongwith the Investigation Officer of the case.
During the course of hearing in this case, IO was directed to produce the corpus. On 30.07.2020, the IO Ms. Prema Kandpal had assisted the
Court in the matter and given useful information. The IO Ms. Prema Kandpal has shown her sincerity and efforts in the matter.
Since, the daughter of the victim has been traced and she is with the petitioner now for which this habeas corpus petition has been filed, nothing
survives in this petition and it stands disposed of accordingly.
