Present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing the official respondents No.2 and 3 to take action on the representations dated 10.07.2024 (Annexure P-2) and 15.01.2025 (Annexure P-3) for protecting the life and personal liberty of the petitioner.
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner has been considered and it has been found that the petitioner has filed several other complaints on similar lines. It is further submitted that even a perusal of the representations does not show any specific incident with respect to threat has been mentioned. It is stated that the petitioner has also not come to the police station to pursue her representations.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in view of the same, the present criminal writ petition be disposed of but liberty be granted to the petitioner to file a fresh representation in case there is any threat to the petitioner by giving specific details of the said threat.
Keeping in view the above-said facts and circumstances, the present criminal writ petition is disposed of with the liberty aforesaid.
