1.

The State respondents specifically the respondent No. 2 by way of an affidavit at Annexure VI thereof have annexed a letter dated 16.03.2022, which indicates that a settlement had been arrived at the National Lok Adalat held on 11.09.2021, for release of the retirement benefits of the petitioner within a period of 90 days. A copy of the settlement was forwarded to the Government in the Education Department on 28.10.2021.

2.

In view of this categorical statement made on the affidavit, as evidenced by the letter dated 16.03.2022, nothing remains for further consideration before this Court.

3.

However, it is to be noted that though a settlement had been arrived at on 11.09.2021 for release of the retirement benefits within a period of 90 days, the same is yet to be resolved. As such, the State respondents are directed to complete the entire process within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

4.

With the above noted directions, this writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
