C.R. Dash, J
This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Sangram Das, learned Standing Counsel for the Vigilance Department.
The petitioner is stated to have filed an F.I.R. against opposite parties 2 & 3 before the Superintendent of Police, Vigilance, Rourkela- opposite party No.8.
The F.I.R. having already been filed, this Court, in a writ jurisdiction, cannot interfere with the investigation, if taken.
In view of such fact, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the Superintendent of Police, Vigilance, Rourkela- opposite party No.8, to do the needful in accordance with law, on the basis of the F.I.R. filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-11.
It is made clear that, this is not a direction by this Court to opposite party No.8 to institute case on the basis of the F.I.R. Whatever action be taken, should be lawful and in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this Order be granted as per rules.
