This Writ Petition has been filed seeking the following prayers:

i.

Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to register an FIR on the basis of the Petitioner’s representation dated 24.09.2025 and conduct a proper investigation into the allegations of corruption and bribery.

ii.

Issue appropriate directions, or order to conduct a fair and impartial investigation into the illegal transactions between Respondents 5 to 9.

iii.

Considering the exigencies and necessity for urgent consideration of the grievance voiced in this writ petition criminal this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to dispense with translation of the documents produced in vernacular language.

iv.

Issue such other orders or directions as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.

Today, the learned Public Prosecutor has placed the report submitted by Sri. Bijukumar P.C., Deputy Supdt. of Police (I/C), Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Palakkad on behalf of the 2nd respondent. In paragraphs 4 and 5 of the same, it has been stated as under:

It is submitted that a complaint (Exhibit P-4) in to the above allegations were submitted by the petitioner before the Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau on 24.09.2025. On receipt of the same, the Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau forwarded it to Additional Chief Secretary, Vigilance department for taking further necessary action vide letter No. CPSP-08-44642/2025/DVACB Dated 15.10.2025.

It is also submitted that, as per Letter No. VIG-D2/388/2025-VIG dated 17.12.2025 of the Additional Chief Secretary, Vigilance Department, the complaint has been forwarded to the Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department, for enquiry through the Internal Vigilance of the concerned administrative department. During the enquiry, if any further investigation by the Vigilance Department is required, the file may be forwarded with specific recommendations.”

Since the grievance of the petitioner sought for in this Writ Petition has been practically addressed, in view of the report extracted hereunder, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, anticipating further action as reported, with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court again, if he has any grievance hereafter.
