ORDER

By Hon’ble Mr. Anand Mathur, Member (A)

Mr. Manzoor A Beigh, learned counsel for the applicant is present. None present for the respondents.

2.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant had superannuated from service in March, 2022 and at the time of his retirement an amount of Rs.70,555/- has not been released in his favour although it was clearly directed by the Tribunal vide judgement order dated 07.07.2015 in OA No.286-JK-2013 (Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Ganai, vs. Union of India & Ors). He had made several requests to the respondents and the latest is dated 13.05.2022 but no action has been taken by the respondents to release the said amount. He further pleads that he would be satisfied if the respondents are directed to dispose of his pending representation dated 13.05.2022 along with the contents on this O.A. by passing a speaking order within a time frame.

3.

Learned counsel for the respondents is not present.

4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant it is felt that no useful purpose would be served in keeping this O.A. pending. Accordingly, the respondents are hereby directed to dispose of the pending representation of the applicant dated 13.05.2022 along with the averments made in the present O.A. by passing a Reasoned and Speaking order within a period of four weeks from today. A copy of the speaking order so passed be provided to the applicant.
