Judgment

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under sections 120(B), 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(1) of CRL OP(MD) No.6254 of 2024 IPC in Crime No.04 of 2024, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners, by giving a promise to secure government job to the defacto complainant's relatives, had received a sum of Rs.42,00,000/- and thereafter, they cheated her.
3.Considering the rival submissions, this Court is inclined to grant interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners till 11.06.2024, enabling them to appear before the respondent police for interrogation. The respondent police shall conduct an enquiry and file a report as to the role played by the petitioners. The respondent police shall not harass the petitioners during the enquiry. The petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent police from 26.04.2024 onwards.
4.List on 11.06.2024.
5.Till such time, the respondent Police shall not arrest the petitioners.
