Judgment

Mr. Romendro Sharma, learned counsel appeared for the writ petitioner; Mr. S. Vijayanand Sharma, learned senior panel counsel and Ms. W. Geetarani, learned counsel appeared for the respondents No. 1 and 4 and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned GA appeared for the respondents No. 2, 3 and 5.
It has been submitted at the bar that so far as the claim of the present petitioner with regard to the payment of compensation is concerned, the authorities have considered such claim on the basis of the representation submitted by the petitioner and the same has been rejected by the authorities by passing an order dated 11-01-2024. The learned counsel further submitted that the order dated 11-01-2024 issued by the authorities rejecting the claim of the petitioner for payment of compensation had been assailed by some group of people including the present petitioner by filing a writ petition being WP(C) No. 69 of 2024 and the same is still pending before this court.
With regard to the prayer for issuing the impugned eviction notice dated 20-12-2023 issued by the SDC, Tousem, this court is of the considered view that the petitioner can be granted ample opportunities to raise his objection to the said eviction notice and by giving liberty to the concerned authorities for deciding the same on merit.
Mr. Romendro Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for taking up this matter day after tomorrow so as to enable him to get instruction from his client.
