Judgment
Hon’ble Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Member (A):
The applicant, herein, was issued a Charge sheet on 28.6.2017 and he was imposed certain punishment vide order Dt. 4.9.2019. Against the same, he had preferred a statutory appeal on 18.09.2019. Personal hearing was also requested.
This appeal has not been decided as yet.
He has also reminded the respondents to decide the appeal vide his representations dated 22.11.2019 and 30.12.2019. Since there was no action, the present OA has been filed.
Heard. Issue notice. Sh. R.K. Jain, learned counsel appears on behalf of Respondents on advance information and accepts notice.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, we dispose of the OA at the admission stage itself, without going into the merits of the case, with a direction to the respondents to decide the statutory appeal preferred by the applicant on 18.09.2019, by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, and advise the applicant.
The applicant shall have liberty to approach the Tribunal, if certain grievances still subsist.
No order as to costs.
