The applicant was a Senior Resident in Lady Harding Medical College and Associate Kalawati Saran Children Hospital. He joined on the said
position on 18.10.2017 and worked till 17.10.2020. As per his contention, he has not been sanctioned encashment of earned leave as per rules, even
though he gave representations on 17.10.2020 and 31.03.2021 for the same. He has further stated that other Doctors who did the same senior
Residency along with him have all been sanctioned encashment of earned leave.
Learned counsel for applicant states that at this stage, he will be satisfied if directions are issued to the respondents to dispose of the
representations of the applicant in a time bound manner.
Accordingly, without going into the merits of the matter at the admission stage itself, the respondents are directed to pass a reasoned and speaking
order as per rules and law on the representations of the applicant dated 17.10.2020 and 31.03.2021 within a period of six weeks from receipt of a copy
of this order.
OA is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
