The Tribunal vide Order dated 27.04.2017 in OA 1311/2017 had issued the following directions:-

"11. In view of this, orders dated 28.09.2016, 04.11.2016 and 24.03.2017 are quashed and set aside and the respondents are directed not to recover the amount of Rs.12,031/- from the applicant and release the leave encashment due to the applicant. The O.A. stands disposed of. No order as to costs."

This Contempt Petition has been filed for alleged non-compliance of ibid directions. Status report has been filed on behalf of respondents where in para 6, it is stated that the applicant was due to get leave encashment for 78 days of earned leave and 392 days of HPL. The encashment benefits in respect of these leaves have been granted to him. The total amount of leave encashment came to Rs.88,976/-. However, due to inadvertent mistake, he was paid Rs.1,01,007/- which entailed in excess of payment of Rs.12,031/-. It is stated in the status report that, in compliance of the Tribunal"s direction, the respondents have ordered not to recover the excess amount of Rs.12,031/-. The last part of the order dated 19.12.2017 passed by the respondents in compliance of the Tribunal"s direction, specifically states so.

In view of the above, we are satisfied that Tribunal"s Order dated 27.4.2017 in OA 1311/2017 has been fully complied with by the respondents and nothing survives. Accordingly, Contempt Petition stands disposed of. Notices issued to the respondents are discharged.
